Wooden spoons are crafted by first choosing a strong hardwood, such as maple or cherry. The wood is cut into a rough, spoon-shaped blank, which is then refined using hand tools or machines like band saws and routers. The bowl of the spoon is carefully hollowed out, and the entire piece is sanded until smooth.
