ATP Synthase who? Dynein is arguably one of the most complex and sophisticated protein structures there is. If an ATP Synthase can spin, a Dynein can literally walk! How many protein can do that? Dynein is actually a dimeric protein composed of 2 monomers wrapping around each other, like having 2 legs! Each motor domain contains a AAA ATPase, that in itself has 6 non-identical AAA subunits, and a stalk domain that has a microtubule-binding domain. On the other end is a dynein heavy chain that, a
