Day 2 of 43 degree days in Adelaide. Our rescuers and carers are exhausted. Hundreds have lost their lives. Many juveniles rehydrated and back with their mums. Approximately 30 in care some of them will be released back tomorrow once fully hydrated. Some will stay in care for rehab with injuries. Running a Heat Stress Event is costly for our volunteers.
